How time flies when you’re having fun. The fifth issue of SCOOP magazine is out and it is a great pleasure to have our regular strip FRAMED featured inside again.
SCOOP is a fab monthly magazine aimed at children aged 8 and above. Each issue features short stories, beautiful illustrations, poetry, and comic strips including FRAMED a regular two page feature by myself and Giovanni Rigano. Giovanni and I are long time comic collaborators (along with the mighty Eoin Colfer) on the series of Artemis Fowl graphic novels and an original graphic novel, ILLEGAL, to be released in October 2017. Our new FRAMED strip in issue #5 provides excellent advice on “How to be a Supervillain.”
SCOOP Magazine features fiction and non-fiction, one off pieces, and regular columns. It’s a beautiful thing with high production values and lovely quality paper. It smells good too.
SCOOP is available from selected Inde bookshops across the country including: Ottie and the Bea, Much Ado Books, Tales on Moon Lane, and others. It’s a lush, beautifully produced magazine that I reckon any kid into reading will absolutely love – especially if they do want to be a supervillain.
