All the Fun of the Fair(s) – 2016

April was Book Fair season. First, the Children’s Book Fair in Bologna, Italy followed the very next week by the London Book Fair. Book fairs are where deals are done and books are bought.

It was a great thrill to see Hodder Children’s Books pick a double page spread from our graphic novel, ILLEGAL, to be the huge panel display on their Bologna stand. Giovanni’s artwork looked lovely blown up to be taller than a man! (Well, taller than a man who was five feet eleven inches high.) Big thanks to Anne McNeil and Rachel Wade for making the whole display look so stunning.

 
The London Book Fair the next week felt busy and bustling. Thanks as ever to Mr Baz for his party invitations.

Security guards had been beefed up a bit this year.
