Absolutely delighted to say that our graphic novel, ILLEGAL, (published October 5th by Hodder) is the Times Children’s Book of the Week.

A big thank you to all at Hodder who have been so great in supporting this labour of love especially Anne and Rachel and Emily.

Eoin, Giovanni, and I (and Hodder’s Emily) are off on our ILLEGAL TOUR. Starting with the Bath Children’s Lit Festival on Sunday 1st October, and taking in Bath, Manchester, Blackburn, London, and beyond. Hopefully we can see you!

What a great read this book is. It’s completely understandable why it’s getting such brilliant reviews – like others, I couldn’t put it down!

It’s gripping, realistic, human, emotional and even educational – quite a feat ?
