ILLEGAL @ Hay 2018

A huge thank you to everyone who came to see us at Hay last weekend.  It was a rain soaked affair, but what a wonderful festival it was.

#TeamIllegal had an audience of 1600 school children on the Friday followed by a mix of 400 kids and parents on the Saturday.  It was fantastic to see so many people at both events and a big thank you for all your lovely and very smart questions.  And thanks to everyone who queued to get their graphic novels signed afterwards in the shop. Giovanni’s drawing hand has just about recovered from doing all those sketches.

Thanks also to all at the Hay Festival for looking after us so well and their brilliant hosting especially Hay’s Children’s director, Julia Eccleshare and Hodder’s own Emily Thomas.
